Why would anyone want to see Cain fight for the title after getting knocked out in just over a minute by Cigano. I have no doubt that Cain will be a huge threat to JDS in the future, but he definitely needs to win a fight before getting back in the cage with the belt on the line. Mir 100% deserves the shot, even if his wins are not the most impressive ever he's definitely the next in line!

Since the first fight was dominated by Cigano, I see no real reason to put Cain back in there again this quick.

Could Cain be a threat to the title in the future? Absolutely.

But right now Mir earned his place... then you'll have guys like Barnett and Cormier coming over. HW is going to be like the LW division soon; Stacked and constant contenders.

What do you want them to say?

Cain put up a super great effort? Or that Cain's leg kicks were really doing damage and Cigano got lucky?

JDS vs. Werdum (rematch). Werdum on a four fight streak [I refuse to acknowledge the loss to Overoid because he's a cheat].

He's the man that finally dispelled the Fedor invincibility myth (which probably saved the UFC a fortune) he's beaten Bigfoot Silva and Roy Nelson. he appears to have improved his striking since suffering his only stoppage loss to JDS 3.5 years ago.

I actually think that JDS knocks him cold again - but Werdum is just as worthy of a shot as Mir or anyone else...

I must admit to being sick as pig that Overoid got caught cheating - most people if they are honest, probably suspected he was juicing. But suspecting and knowing are very different... What a dumb SOB

Seriously kid, you should shut up. From ur comment it is clear, you thought Overeem was clear, you were prolly the first one to go onto horse diet and now u r crying. The truth is, almost every1 is juicing and you shouldnt have gone so offensive on him.

Rob$$on - dude you might want to try putting my post through Google translate again because apparently you didn't understand a word of it. I'll use small words that hopefully translate more clearly:
me looking forward to JDS vs Overeem
Overeem testosterone ration 14/1
Overeem = cheat
me not like cheet
me not like Overeem
this thread = who best to replace Overoid
me thinks Werdum is a worthy opponent
me think you undereducated troll
me think you should look at my other posts on this forum
me not care if you respond
me go back to work now
you let your mommy back on the computer and go take a nap
me finished

lol then in that case they should give Machida a rematch against Jones first right? and perhaps Yushin Okami another shot at Anderson Silva right away, and also Chad Mendes against Aldo.

Do you see how dumb you sound?

#1 Lyoto "the Dragon" Machida
#2 Junior "Cigano" Dos Santos
#3 Mauricio "Shogun" Rua
#4 Fedor "Last Emperor" Emelianenko
#5 "the Prodigy" BJ Penn

Im on another level now
