Rashad Evans/Jones Conference Call

Highlights are between 20:20 - 24:30 is probably the best bit.

Rashad's accent seems stronger over the phone.

Tell me about it. Lol @ him thinking that Rashad's in his mid 30's, lol. Rashad doesn't even feel he has reached his peak yet which is interesting, but Jones seems desperate to convince himself that Rashad's nearing retirement

Well to be fair, after the beating he will receive from JBJ it will age him quite a few years

Anyways, yeah, but then again I don't know how old most of my guy friends are until they remind me during their birthday at the bar.

This whole fight is getting really annoying.

Jon Jones is annoying all in himself.

Rashad can be pretty annoying.

Evans left Jackson's for a year....and they are still crying about it.

The whole build up to this fight is pretty girly.

I rarely agree with you. But this time I definitely do.

I posted in another thread. This whole thing sounds like a bunch of school yard bullshit to be honest. "You told our friend that you would fight me? I'll fight you. I'm going to kick your ass. Meet me at the octagon after class!!!"

Both need to grow up and act like adults.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

I dont think this is happening because they are 'girly'.

The problem for them is that their job, this fight, is constantly reminding them about the situation they were put it.

Its like breaking up with a girlfriend over something, or losing a job to another person, or whatever. Then you have to sit in the same room with her/him for interviews, do phone conferences etc.

Im sure as normal adults, they would probably never speak again, and be civilized and say 'hello' if they crossed-paths.

This animosity is normal for people who dont like one another, who are forced to speak about and to each other.

Also, one part that annoyed me was when the interviewer asked Jones about the UFC sponsorship.
I felt like Jones just loves to give back stories about himself. "well, you know, for the longest time Ive wanted to be sponsored by Nike. My brand blah blah blah. Im so important blah blah blah"
I kept imagining the interviewer looking at his watch and regretting asking the question.

Just tell me you're happy and shut the **** up will you?

Of course Im biased, but thats how I felt. I cant even listen to him anymore.

The problem is they've been talking about fighting each other for almost a year now. It's getting old and they have nothing new to say anymore.

It has been a while, but I dont mind.

Can you imagine these guys though? Going home to their wives and kids and this ****er is always on your mind for the past 12 months?

Man they're gonna enjoy punching each other in the face.
