I dont think this is happening because they are 'girly'.
The problem for them is that their job, this fight, is constantly reminding them about the situation they were put it.
Its like breaking up with a girlfriend over something, or losing a job to another person, or whatever. Then you have to sit in the same room with her/him for interviews, do phone conferences etc.
Im sure as normal adults, they would probably never speak again, and be civilized and say 'hello' if they crossed-paths.
This animosity is normal for people who dont like one another, who are forced to speak about and to each other.
Also, one part that annoyed me was when the interviewer asked Jones about the UFC sponsorship.
I felt like Jones just loves to give back stories about himself. "well, you know, for the longest time Ive wanted to be sponsored by Nike. My brand blah blah blah. Im so important blah blah blah"
I kept imagining the interviewer looking at his watch and regretting asking the question.
Just tell me you're happy and shut the **** up will you?
Of course Im biased, but thats how I felt. I cant even listen to him anymore.
