That was good, the dude at 102 killed it though lol. I am still cheering for Anderson to murder Sonnen. However if Sonnen were to fight at 205 or another division i would fully support him.

That one guy who decided to go against Sonnen's antics and say he has no respect as a Martial Artist...
Kinda ballsy to say all that in front of all the Sonnen redneck fans.

Chael can talk up a storm. But he can also fight. And he'll still be the number two MW, even if he loses a second time. I'd not be shocked if Silva submitted him again, but I will have enjoyed the ride. I don't understand why some fans allow themselves to be so tightly wound up by all of this. Chael can be a pretty genuine person. It's not too difficult to spot when he's being himself, and when he's putting on a show for the crowd. He ran his mouth in this Q&A because that's what these fans wanted. Where's the harm in that? He's a fighter, but he's also an entertainer. And as long as people are showing interest, why not feed off of that?
Guaranteed that if Silva wins their rematch, Chael's true colours will show when he bows and humbly declares that Anderson is simply the better man. Not that that'll need to happen

Correction: he's an entertainer who happens to be a good wrestler (when he is roided and motivated). Bisping made him look like a complete loser. #2? Eh... barely.

A complete and total loser yet Chael out struck and out grappled him for all three rounds....funny how that works.

That Mark Hunt fight might have been the best thing to ever happen to Rothwell. He looks great but I still don't know if he can handle Schaub's pace, it's very good for a Heavyweight although the chances of him getting the KO went up even more imo. Looks in great shape.
Also, John Makdessi is an idiot, can't believe he bitched about Hallman not making weight and then goes and misses a week later isn't he a small Lightweight anyway?

Well thankfully we have this thing called stats and they don't lie.
http://blog.fightmetric.com/2012/01/...icial-ufc.html
43-23, 57-50, and 35-29 striking.
4 takedowns compared to Bisping's 1.
Looks like Chael made Bisping look like a complete loser.

Fightmetric isn't associated with and does not represent any commission. The "stats" they use are not validated, counted, or verified by any commission. Human employees of the business watch the fights and tally them. The "stats" they use are divided into categories that have nothing to do with the scoring standards used by commissions. Eg. when they say "head power" that is just some guy on their payroll watching the fight and saying "gee, yeah, that looked powerful and hit the head". They make no delineation between a "power" strike that drops a guy on his ass and almost puts him out, and a "power strike" that just looks kinda hard in the opinion of the fightmetric employee. They are worth the same.
They use an arbitrary point scoring system for deciding how heavily to weigh each grappling maneuver, and by arbitrary, I mean, once again, it isn't correllary to the scoring system in place. They did that with their striking system too. They call it a "complex formula" IIRC. Which is code for "we made it up".
Oh, and they now have a business relationship with the UFC.
Anyone have some grains of salt?

Dude, it's as simple as this. Rounds 1 and 2 were close. Round 3, Sonnen blew Bisping out of the water.
Your opinion is your own. But to say that the only clear cut round in that fight didn't go to Sonnen is just plain, old bias. And to be honest, I have no time for that. I gave Mike full respect for bringing the fight. But round 3 speaks louder than a razor close round 1 and 2. There's really no disputing it.
So, yeah. Number 2. Assuming he smokes Vitor, which I suspect he would/will. Granted, I'm also a Vitor fan, so I'd not mind either man walking away with his hand raised.
