Anyone think Bones/Rashad lines messed up?
Bones is my favorite fighter and I hate Rashad, but does anyone else think the lines are messed up? I mean someone with one loss and some impressive wins on their resume at a (generally around) +400? Surely that seems like a good bet, no?

What you have to understand kid is that all these people bumming Jones right now are the types of people who will jump on almost any bandwagon. That's all.

Disagree.
It might have something to do with Machida knocking Evan's head off, and Jones choking Machida to death. Or Rampage knocking Evans silly, and Jones treating Rampage like a child wrestling with dad.
I don't agree with the odds. But to say it is simply bandwagon is just wrong. Jones has finished guys who finished or almost finished Rashad. It really is as simple as that and that's why he is so overwhelmingly favored.
MMA math doesn't always work. Jones has shown no weakness. Rashad has. It has nothing to do with bandwagon.

Either Way...
Love both fighters... Personally I am going with Jones because he finighes fights and I feel Rashad will try to run out the clock after getting a few hits in. Jones won't let that happen, but hopefully all the training Rashad did with Jones will make it an impressive fight.

MMA math NEVER works. And you can actually argue that RAMPAGE outwrestled Jones in their fight for the most part. He stuffed more than 70% of Jones takedowns in their fight. Jones couldn't get a takedown until the 3rd round!
Rashad did a MUCH better job out wrestling Rampage.

Run out the clock after getting a few hits in? Wtf are you talking about, mate? You're talking as Rashad's some sort of bitch or something. Rashad ain't Kalib Starnes, y'know? Rashad was champion when Jones had posters of him on his wall. Lets get it right.

The thing with a betting line is it's less on who could win and more on who you are willing to bet on. Rashad fans may talk him up and claim he's going to win but when it comes to putting their money where their mouth is they aren't doing it.

And Jones did a much better job of not getting KTFO by Machida?

Punks? For supporting/betting on another fighter? Oookay.
I wouldn't ever bet real money though, no matter how confident I was. Especially on MMA, it's too risky.
