I'd like to see someone be brave enough to go out and predict Rashad wins instead of dancing around it. Also keep in mind we don't know what the lay and pray rules are going to be for this fight, Rashad seems to think his best hope is holding Jones down, the refs may not let that happen.

I'm going to say Rashad wins. Said that from the start when the whole drama unfolded. I can't stand devious people like JBJ. If he would have came in and said, "Rashad I know we're team mates, but down the road in the near future we may have to fight and I'm being straight up...I will have no qualms about it brother." Instead he opts for the cosmetic approach. "Oh we'll never fight one another." Evans by pure mayhem and frustration of being overlooked and passed up numerous times due to timing and injury. Seems like he broke up with his fiance/baby momma in the process while changing gyms. Talk about life changing experiences due to one pivotal moment. If he doesn't win here I think he might go mental...Bobby Cooper style. So yah I'm bold enough to make the statement knowing he's up against all odds. 6:1 that's nothing...lolz!

I can't wait for JBJ to finish Rashad...
If only to listen to JBJ talk about destiny & how much bigger his fate is outside of MMA for awhile longer.
And also because I can imagine the grumpy, troll, face Rashad will make & it will be epic.

"its going to be a great fight" "interesting"
Everyone is being so diplomatic, wish someone would just say what they think.

I'm sure JBJ evolved his game by leaps and bounds since they trained together, and I'm sure Rashad got better as well. You are constantly evolving as a fighter, from week to week, and fight to fight.

It's only been a year. How much can really change in a year.

How is he not the same man? Certainly he practices hard and endeavors to improve, but please tell me exactly what form this amazing evolution by leaps and bounds has taken.
Except for keeping his left extended and his fingers in his oponents eyes what has he changed?

Are you blind? Look at where the Elbow is landing, first over the head, then on the crown, then on the temple (Jackson ducked).
In 2010 his arm went down with him and hit the canvas...big no no, could have set himself up for a triangle or arm bar. He tucks his arm against Rampage.

Is that a leap? ... or a bound?

I think Rashad will surprise many in the fight.
His tools are set very well to compensate for anything Jones has, his experience with him and the recent interviews stating that Rashad did in fact control him and beat him in training, makes Rashad seem like quite a good bet. Even if he does lose (which is without question a possibility) people will realize Jones isn't as invincible as they think he is.
