Eddie is mainly a bjj instructor and yes he would probably beat most of his students (assuming they were at least somewhat close in size) in a bjj match.

Eh it wouldn't carry over well into other gyms. I mean MMA is so broad it will be nuts to make qualifications for belt levels. I mean are they going to have to learn all facets of MMA ( MT, boxing,BJJ, wrestling, judo. Etc...)? Are we talking the MMA classes offered which is mostly combining BJJ, wrestling and MT?

I mean I know a BJJ black belt in one gym wouldn't always be one in another, but at least is is still down to grappling, not tons of different disciplines.

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't own a belt in any form of martial arts, but doesn't a belt kind of imply you're wearing a gi? I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those guys didn't even own one.
