Haven't you guys seen Jones defend against kicks?

His reach is impenetrable. Rashad will throw a kick and Jones will punch him off his feet.

No way Rashad can stand with Bones. He can barely make eye contact during the stare down, which for Jones will be exactly that, a stare DOWN. Rashad has a slight speed advantage but not enough of one to make up for 9 inches of reach. Bones isn't slow either.

At no time during this fight should Shad try to play the distance game with Jones. If he does the fight is over real quick. I dont even think he could reach Jones with his leg kicks. No, the only way he can stay standing is if he can capitalize on a mistake Jones makes, which isn't too often and IMO this will be the best Jones yet.

Jon Jones | Anderson Silva | Urijah Faber | Benson Henderson | Rampage Jackson | Roy Nelson | Shinya Aoki

The only effective use Rashad would have in terms of striking, is if he uses them to set up takedown attempts, be relentless with TD attempts keep at it. He won't out-strike Jones, but Rashad's wrestling in terms of MMA is excellent and that's what he should worry about. He shouldn't attempt a stand-up war IMO

Sparring with Tyrone Spong for the last year can't hurt. He has Bigfoot to (kinda) emulate the reach.

We will see, Evans knows he can't stand on the outside and has to get in Jones's face like Sonnen did to Silva. Even if Evans is doing well standing up, the reach of Jones and a counter punch could end the fight at any point.
