Zuffa can make that provision cost $0, but it would cost Bellator $5M every time he fights on top of his regular terms.

Exactly, I used to follow pro wrestling a lot during the monday night wars and WCW was famous for making these kind of offers throwing in things that because of being owned by Turner Broadcasting the WWF couldn't match.

Every fighter on a win streak is a can crusher before they make their way into the top 10..
When I met Hector he was very hesitant to discuss his contract with Bellator, I asked him about the champions clause and he didn't want to talk about it. Good guy though, I really look forward to seeing him fight in the UFC but WW would be better for him.
on a side note: Anyone who thinks that Alexander Shlemenko is not a good win is either A. Not knowledgeable on the topic at hand or B. Retarded.

I agree with this. He's basically another Paul Harris.
Although, I'm eager to see how he does in the UFC. It seems as though even if Bellator released him (Which I think they should seeing that Bellators middle weight division is a ghost town), they still have respect for him as a fighter.

His record isn't littered with top names but neither are the UFC's middleweights.
He matches up very well with most and I'm not saying he would be champ but he is without a doubt a great addition and could possibly crack the top five.

The problem is looking at his record, you rarely even come across semi notable fighters at all. His record is littered with people like Jesse Taylor and Kalib Starnes.
I would love to see him actually test himself, but as of right now he is severely overhyped considering his level of competition.

In Palhares' case it's pretty much proven, he's a can crusher and nothing more he can beat up on guys like Dave Branch and Mike Mazzenzio but can't do anything against a guy like Nate Marquardt. He's had his chances at elite fighters and he hasn't done anything with them, except complain that Marquardt's leg was greased.
Lombard hasn't fought or beat anyone note worthy in a long, long time, not since Mousasi back in Pride in 2006 which he lost. No one knows how he'd do against a world class wrestler like Sonnen or a vicious striker like Belfort.
Since the Mousasi fight, his two most notable opponents are Kyle Noke and Brian Ebersole, he fought to a draw with Noke and he didn't even make Ebersole tap. He tapped because he was bleeding.

Marquardt isn't an elite fighter and Palhares did not lose to him because he is a can crusher he lost to him because Palhares is batshit crazy. Actually though that may not be a bad thing if he fight for the title though cause you gotta be somewhat crazy if Anderson Silva is standing across from you and punching him in the face seems like a good idea.

Finally. He is way overrated by some and now it's time to start proving the critics wrong.

anyone know whats up with the KSW event next month. It was supposed to be Lombard Vs Khalidov, which i think Lombard could well lose. Has this been scraped because a loss would seriously affect Hector's negotionations!

He'd probably lose to Brian Stann, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Costa Philippou.
It would be cool to see him finally fight a UFC caliber fighter. Make it happen DW.
