If it was staged then why did they go straight back into the session to finish the round, wouldn't Jon's "public image" be better served to be standing over the KO'd sparring partner in tears screaming at the ceiling WHYYYY!!!!! Come on guys cut this kid some slack.

Just so you know I don't hate Jones and never jumped on that bandwaggon. I just don't buy into clips camps put out days before a fight acting like their guy is super human ko'ing people left right and center. This might not be stagged, but I'm always very skeptical a week before fight day. Even fighters I love, I don't buy that crap they say days leading into the fight.

Guys get rocked in sparring. It happens. There were 2-3 guys checking on the dude, what else can be done? So in your mind if there were 2-3 guys checking on him and Jackson stopped the sparring and they all clustered around him and wrung their hands that makes it better? That accomplishes nothing except waste time. He did what I would expect a professional trainer to do, get back to business as soon as you have a couple guys making sure he is ok.

LOL, I know the guy in this video. His name is Shawn Muldoon, he sings for a local CNY band called Stone Soul Foundation.. they started out here in Auburn NY but looks like he's getting around! I also work with his soon to be ex wife. I've always seen him in the bars.. cannot for the life of me imagine how he ended up sparring with Jones, never struck me as the athletic type...?! Maybe he's known him for a while, Jones is from upstate NY too but not very close to here...

Dude walked in chin up and looked like he had his mouth open when he took the shot....add to the fact that dreadlocks looks like he's about a 160 maybe 170 and its no wonder he put this fool to sleep....def wondering why no headgear was on.

His band is becoming pretty popular, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind a little more publicity . He and another bandmate were on that show hillbilly handfishing not too long ago...
