THis fight is interesting for the simple fact that Dan is so beloved by many and winning the LHW belt from Jon Jones would be an enormous achievement, adding to a career filled with great success. If Dan wins the belt, hard not to consider him the most succesful, if not the 2nd or 3rd most succeful MMA fighter ever. In regards to his chances, they are slim.

I give him a 3 - not likely. I will never entirely count out a guy who hits as hard as Henderson but I think Jones is going to work him. I think Jones is going to be able to work his reach with punches and really light Dan's midsection up with kicks. I don't think Henderson has the explosiveness or speed he needs to threaten Jones with his wrestling and I actually think we'll probably see at some point Jones land a big takedown on Dan. I think once Jones gets that takedown it will lead to a ground and pound finish. But, if Henderson does manage to survive into the later rounds I definitely have more faith in Jones' cardio than Dan's.

Basically, I really, really like Dan but I think his chances lie entirely in his ability to catch Jones with that right hand. Outside of that longshot I think he's in trouble.

MMA math. He beat Fedor and Shogun after, would Shields be able to do the same? Hendo just isn't a MW fighter anymore.

As for his chances, his going to be more dangerous than Evans in the first 2 rounds, steady in the 3rd and probably gets finished in the last 2 rounds (should the fight last that long).

Live underdog fa sho! If he had Machida's quickness and Diego Sanchez' conditioning I'd give him 60% chance, but he doesn't so it drops to approximately 25% chance maybe even 10%, but definitely 10% at the worst. Can't rule out a fighter who can end it instantly.

This is a fight we want to see. Can JBJ get KOed and is how tough is Hendo's chin. Where's the breaking point...because I can't remember if he EVER lost by KO or TKO. Which is absolutely ridiculous considering his span in this game...he's part of the elite 1%'s.

If this fight goes past the 2nd round, Hendo's done. His gas tank is shite.

Is this sarcasm?

If not.

He stoped Fedor in the first and easily won the first three rounds from Shogun before gassing in the last two.

The H bomb is the only chance Hendo has. If he can land that solid then he could shock the world.

Hey, Serra got to GSP so is it really that far fetched?

Fav Fighters:
BJ
GSP
Askren
JDS
Belcher
Shogun
Fedor
Hendo
Sonnen

You can argue about the Shogun fight like many, saying Shogun won the 4th and a 10-8 for the 5th but you don't think he beat Fedor? How?
