Ok. Let me clarify. Yes he can be disappointed about not fighting in Brazil, but why does that give him a free pass to put the event in jeopardy instead of just understanding that an organization that has promoted him, made him rich and famouse and has stuck by him despite his snoozefests against Cote and Leites and his behavior in the Maia fight.
The UFC has been good to this guy and the one time they need him to be flexible for them he acts put out.

Ah, I love when people mention the Cote fight as a slight on Silva because then I can immediately discern that they are retarded.
I'm also amused that people repeatedly bring up the Leites fight yet I don't quite here the same rumblings about Alistair's performance against Werdum.
At least Anderson didn't gas in the Leites fight.

You make it sound like the fight got cancelled which is stupid. The fight is still on they negotiated and agreed on the new venue. That's how business works when you grow up you'll see. Also longest reigning champ, 14-0 in the UFC with only 2 decisions. What other option would UFC have other than to 'stick' by him

Yeah, no thanks to Anderson Silva.
So imagine if Anderson through his little fit and Dana was not willing to pay more so the fight was off, then what. The fight is still on because the UFC made sure of it, not Anderson.
And yes that is a good reason to stick by a fighter, should'nt Anderson return the favor by showing a little understanding?
And lets say Sonnen decides to tell the UFC that if Anderson is getting more money then he wanted more money or the fight is off, Is that just "business". I bet Sonnen would be getting lambasted for something like that.

Yeah. Go ahead and resort to name calling. It speaks to your maturity.

I don't think he put the event in jeopardy at all. I think he knew he could hold out for a big ass chunk of cash if they weren't going to fight in Brazil. Smart business move, IMO.

Immaturity > Stupidity.
Yes how dare Anderson win two rounds of a technical kickboxing match against a granite chinned, low output counterpuncher before he incredulously blows his knee out mere seconds into the third of a scheduled 5th.
What a boring, POS fighter. The UFC should've fired him on the spot.
Anderson sucks anytime he doesn't transform into a torpedo and blow the other dude out of the cage...apparently.

You are just proving you are one of the few posters in this great forum who cannot disagree with someone on a topic without making it personal. Shame on you.

Yeah because Sonnen is the p4p champion and is allowed to make demands like that
