Would've picked JDS, but since he's not going against Reem in May, I gave my vote to Anderson.
My man Faber has to get that belt from Dominick "The Decisionator" Cruz, too.

JDS and Aldo have the two easiest title fights coming up. Also from the sounds of it Hioki and Velasquez/Werdum will likely be the contenders after that so I really don't see how those guys lose. 9/10 chance they win their next two fights.
Jon Jones has some decent competition and he seems to be regressing but he's out of the running. I think 8/10 chance to stay undefeated as champion.
GSP has a murderers row of guys coming after him, and he's coming off injury so he could be a pick but I feel like he's going to beat Condit and Ellenberger. 7/10 I like him but it's a tougher division.
Cruz doesn't have much of any competition but he gets dropped in every fight and that chin is likely going to go at some point. 6/10 any day now
Benson Henderson, he could lose to Edgar, he could lose to Pettis again, a number of guys are moving up to face and you have Melendez and Alvarez who could be showing up very soon. So he is a good pick. 4/10 chance he'll lose the belt in his next three fights.
Anderson Silva is my pick, he's sort of a mixture of Cruz/GSP/Henderson problems. I think like Henderson he's going to have a series of tough tests, like Cruz he was dropped by Sonnen, and now he's going to have a series of strikers coming at him, and with GSP the layoff and injury could have a huge effect on him, he looked like he was in worse shape than GSP. So my picks Anderson, he'll either lose or retire, I doubt he'll be champion this time next year.

Well, I went with the unpopular choice of GSP.
Why? only one reason. The long layoff and the injury. I can see a serious problem with ring rust having not faught for over a year. When he finally comes back, I can in no way shape or form expect him to just come back after over a year away and a serious (in some cases career ending) injury and pick up where he left off.
If he wasn't the champ and was just a contender. This would be a perfect case for him to have a "Gimme" warm up fight, before he faught for the belt. But since he is the champ, he doesn't get that warm up fight. He has to come at full strength and on his first fight back, face whoever is at the tip top of their game and at the peak of their performance level and he has to beat them, right out of the gate, after a seriously long layoff. That is a brutal hurdle.
I am more than pulling for him to do just that. I want him to come back and defend on his first fight back. And if he does, he will surpass everyone else in my book as the best PFP ever. But first, he has to do it. And personally, I hope he does.

And 17 for Anderson. Who could've predicted that a few years ago.

Anderson's fight is next, isn't it? So him. Then Bendo, GSP and Jones (depending on the order of their fights).
JDS will retain against Mir, Aldo will beat Koch and Cruz will beat Faber again so they're out of the losing race.
