Holy shit, have you guys ever seeen this dude in Tito's corner ? its Tito's runner boy, I Cant believe hes actually fighting at HVW.

"Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir (Pictures) has fallen off April 5's UFC Fight Night Card with an undisclosed injury, Sherdog.com learned Wednesday. Taking the 27-year-old Mir's place versus Dutch striker Antoni Hardonk is UFC newcomer Justin McCully.

Mir (9-3-0) has fallen hard since suffering serious leg injuries stemming from a motorcycle accident in Sept. 2004. Returning to the Octagon last year, Mir went 1-2, losing in the first round to Marcio Cruz (Pictures) and Brandon Vera (Pictures) while taking a close decision against Dan Christison (Pictures).

McCully (7-3-2) had not fought for three years before winning twice in Oct. 2006. Losing to Evan Tanner (Pictures) in the finals of Pancrase's 1998 New-Blood tournament, McCully fought actively until 2000. Today he is best known for being a training partner of former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz"

I really wasn't all that excited to see Mir again. He never really impressed me that much except when he fought Sylvia. Should be interesting to see McCully in action. Hopefully he's not another Matt Hamill.

haha:laugh:
Hardonk is fighting a guy sitting on a Lazyboy. See kids, it pays off to watch a lot of TV.

but seriously, Tito's corner guy looks small to be a HW...are you sure it's him?

This really sucks. I feel terrible for Frank Mir. It most be killing him inside seeing his career and everything he has worked so hard for just slipping away. I really hope the UFC doesn't can him.

Man, I'm losing all of my favorite fighters. Babalu looks to be out, Nick Diaz is gone, Evan Tanner is on the back of a milk carton and now Frank Mir is holding on by a thread. :(

100%... hes probably around 230lbs... the belly of course helps him make HVW :D but realistically, yea he could cut down to 205lbs if he wanted too

Mir could easily make the transition to commentating. He's articulate, charismatic, and he has the knack for explaining things well. Dude is a better commentator than he is fighter.

McCully is someone who I just saw as a lackey. I hope Hardonk gets to display his skills, and comes out to a remix of "****** Tonk Badonkadonk" complete with changing the lyrics up to say "Hardonk Badonkadonk".

I want awesome leg kicks.
