I was going to but then I saw you already did.

Bisping is basically the Kenny Florian of #1 contender fights. He gets them eventually but he blows it every time.

He has no defensive wrestling or bjj.

His only submission victory - which someone will bring up to discredit the notion of him having no ground game - was against Mike Massenzio. Who was subbed at the last event for the 4th time in 9 fights. He's also 3-6 in his last night. Not a good argument.
Your definition of a so-called "Top Fighter" differs from mine. He fights in the UFC, he has the capability to KO any man, there is No line of fighters waiting to fight him (even though he has a huge name). And he is easily in the Top 10 in the MW Division. Hence...Top Fighter. Always exciting and always has a chance to Win. He is a top fighter in my book any day.

I understand what Bisping is saying, but hes not the one who should be saying it. If anyone should be saying this it is Munoz.

Fav Fighters:
BJ
GSP
Askren
JDS
Belcher
Shogun
Fedor
Hendo
Sonnen

Florian has lost 1 contender fight, title fights is a whole different story though. Bisping has only been to 1 contender fight and i wouldn't say he blew it. He looked a hell of a lot better than Stann and Silva looked.

As ASKREN pointed out a few posts above me - Munoz has much more of a reason to be upset than Bisping does...

It must suck for any top end fighter to see someone come in from another organization, fight once and possible get a shot though.

Maybe without explicitly staying it Bisping is saying he thinks Stann is an easier #1 contender fight than Sonnen is.

Not everyday do you get a fighter with such a ridiculous winning streak like Hector has. It's impressive and more marketable than Munoz. Bisping will get his shot sooner or later.

That same thought process could have been applied to Houston Alexander. Just because you can hit hard doesn't make you a top fighter.

That is not dead which can eternal lie and withs strange aeons even death may die.

The dan henderson fight was also a contender fight.

Saying that ill say what i said in the other thread I dont see how either stann or lombard deserve a shot until they have a top 5 win under their belts. I also believe Stann is good but crazy over hyped vy the ufc.

Also i can see how with lombards highlight reel combined with Silvas would make a ppv build up gold mine.

Give the winner of Stann vs Lombard a contenders fight against belfort
