Yeah I agree with LL and Fard.

We all agree Palharres is a beast with those leglocks but he has proven time and time again that he has little else to offer. If he cant get a fighter down or they escape, or in Belchers case, outskill him on the floor, he practically gives up.

I'd like to see Belcher fight someone like Bisping, or Munoz/Weidman, maybe even Stann?

It's high time Belcher faced one of the best in the division. He has looked very good lately, and he has no glaring weaknesses. His real strength is there wouldn't be anyone who would be a really really bad matchup for him.

Put him against a top five for sure, I want to see what he can do, he has impressed me.

Cote was a favorite of mine, so I'm still a little bitter about Belcher crushing him, but have to give credit where credit is due.

I don't see him beating Anderson, but I could envision him beating pretty much anyone else with the right gameplan.

I'll say the same thing about Belcher that I say about every other fighter who gets an impressive win; it was a good win but let's see how he does in his next few fights, and I'll make a judgement afterwards. We don't know yet if this is a one-off fight of a lifetime or the beginning of a trend where he's stepped up his game. I'd say put him in against any of the top 5 guys at MW to see where he's at.

I always thought he'd be a top 15 middleweight - good at everything but not great at anything. He impressed me against Palhares, he looked great. But apart from that, i'm still not sold.

Look at his other wins... Jason Macdonald?? Patrick Cote after 18 months off?? Wilson Gouevia?? Before that he lost to Akiyama, who has since gone to lose 4 straight himself. Palhares was his first good win in about 3 years.

Not hating on Belcher, i think he's top 10 now and can have good battles with guys like Bisping, Munoz, Weidman. But until he beats someone else notable, i think its silly to even mention him being near a title shot.
