Another thing I'd like to point out. Say Mir does have more power, but JDS will combo your ass and his gnp is second to none. Mir's more of a 1,2 forward puncher. His striking has improved though, but it's not like JDS at all. JDS constantly moves around and finds angles and just creates opportunities.
KOed Werdum with an uppercut because he knew he always ducks his head in.
KOed Gilbert Yvel with a left hook.
KOed Gonazaga with a left hook.
KOed Cain with a right overhand bomb!
Should have TKOed Carwin...but he somehow survived.
These were all one shot with various technique and style of punching.
All of his fights even outside the UFC have been finishes with the exception of Nelson and Carwin. Regardless I will say JDS is the stronger puncher even though he's lighter.
I just think Mir's is boosting his own confidence which isn't necessarily bad. It's gonna be a fun fight to watch cuz I'm 95% sure JDS will win by KO. I think JDS will throw a straight right down the pipe.
