Still not a fan of a cuiserweight division though I understand your reasoning - but hear me out:
First, making a 235 pound division would severely diminish the amount of talent at HW. The only fighters left up there would be people like Reem, Carwin and Lesnar (Had he stayed) and the rest would cut to 235.
Second, what have the two most recent HW champs been weighing in at? They aren't 265 pound monsters, but somewhere in the middle, which is another interesting thing about the division. They're proving that weight isn't everything, which I love
As for the topic of the thread, I wouldn't like either Strawweight nor SHW. SW lacks depth and SHW would make the sport look absolutely stupid, sluggish and way less serious.
I love that they've added Flyweight, but they need to stop there (For the foreseable future at least)
We've seen what great fights the 125'ers can put on though, and I love the small guy, but SW is just one step to far ATM.
A womens division should come before it.
