Also, the UFC isn't just fighting for most of these guys. It's a career and they do it for the money. A title fight has the potential to be an infinitely larger pay day than a non-title fight. Especially if he pulls out a win.

Who told Hendricks he doesnt have to fight till after Condit GSP. I seriously doubt that happened.
Personally I don't think he beat Kos. And although he actually won the UFC knows Hendricks could use another fight before a shot... |

We call Condit a champ because he beat DHK....a guy who isn't even a top 10 fighter. And he was handed a decision vs. Diaz. A fight where even if you want to hand him the decision...he didn't do anything that impressive.
Laughs.
Then we have guys like Hendricks who has beat 2 top 5 WWs. Kampmann who just beat a top 5 WW and beat ALves.
Condit just wants to milk it because he knows he can't call himself champ for much longer.
This division is a joke right now. The 2 "champs" are jokes.

...I'd like to see Condit fight either one. Natural born beat Diaz at the top of his game. I think both opponents are very dangerous fighters (more in particular Kampmann because of his nasty ground skills), face Condit for the interim belt. That has to be the final set up for a GSP showdown. Been long enough. Kamp just came off a sweet victories over Ellenberger & Alves. Carlos and Martin would be a really sick fight...

Seriously...has anyone really missed GSP since he has been out? I mean other than GSP lunatics?
The WW division is a joke at the top. But at least Ellenberger, Kampmann, Hendricks all have kept fighting for the fans and have actually put on great fights.
Ellenberger has fought 5 times in the last 15 months. GSP has fought 5 times in like the last 4 years.
UFC needs a new WW champ. Its time. |

Brock was an even bigger draw than him. How'd that work out for him? Other than Rory, GSP is all Canada has. Of course he will be a huge draw on the sheer numbers of Canadians that gargle his balls.

Brock won the Heavyweight title and was the best Heavyweight in the world for some time. Brock and GSP have also made more money than most of your "finishers"
So you're completely wrong when saying "no one misses GSP other than his lunatics" because a lot of people sure as hell seem to buy his fights.
