Is UFC 147 Worst PPV Ever?

I've been looking at the final card for the upcoming PPV event in Brazil, and I honestly think it may be the worst PPV ever (at least on paper). This honestly should be a TUF Finale event on free TV, and the TUF finale from this past weekend was arguably a better card.

The main event is Rich Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva. Yes, two old has-beens who may retire after this event are battling it out in a fight that we've already seen, and that nobody wants to see. As if it wasn't irrelevant enough, the fight takes place at a 190 pound catchweight. And this is the MAIN EVENT...
After that, we have the co-main event of - brace yourselves - Fabricio Werdum vs Mike Russow. It could be an entertaining fight, but in terms of relevance it's not like either guy is going to be a champion anytime soon.

The main card is rounded out with the two final fights from the two different weight classes on TUF Brasil, and some random featherweight bout between Brazilian UFC newcomers. And did I mention that the ENTIRE prelim card consists of losers from TUF Brasil?

Somebody please explain to me why this is a PPV and not a TUF: Brasil finale show on free television. Also, does anybody expect this to sell more than 100K PPVs? WTF

It's definitely not PPV worthy when you look at the fights but I'm going to watch it regardless because any fight has the chance to be amazing.

I wanna see Franklin vs. Silva again and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Anyway, it's not like they can just switch it to a free channel if they feel like it. They haven't reserved a time slot. It's PPV or nothing.

Not the worst of fights, but the card is horrible. Do they even have the official fight card yet?

Ever? I doubt it. But it's definitely the worst card ever since I've started watching UFC.

UFC 142 is a close second.

Meh not gonna judge it til its done but on paper it is pretty poor. Haven't watched any of TUF Brazil so hopefully some of the guys from that impress.

Weak, but they've had comparably bad ppvs on overseas cards. 120 was close, bisping vs akiyama main event, two fringe top 10ers, and hardy vs condit co main ... Not bad but not exactly a title eliminator or anything close to it.

119 was even worse, Mir vs crocop, Mir was miles out of the title picture and crocop just sucked at this point. Lil nog vs bader co main, two weakish fringe top tenners just like russow and werdum. The fights actually sucked when they played out too, which made it even worse.

watching the show with lesser expectations is always nice because most of the time it turns out better than expected.

this is the UFC, the guys fighting there are all good fighters.

Maybe they can drop the price for this one for something like 20 bucks. If they don't, this will be a failure sells wise.
