Great Win for Silva, but terrible reffing.

I think that last spinning back kick and follow up body kick hurt Brenneman....he tried to play it off but that last shot was SLOOOOW.....extremely uncharacteristic, and he basically just fell on the ground while Silva easily stuffed him and took his back.

Wow, good win for Silva. I wasn't expecting a submission victory by him. Brenneman was a good test for him and applied a lot of pressure like I was thinking he would.. I thought it was kind of a bad idea for Erick to keep throwing spinning kicks because that's what put him on his back before, but at least he's confident and didn't get too tentative against a wrestler. It clearly was a good idea considering the spinning back kick may have hurt Brenneman and led to the submission win.

Very impressive performance by Silva. Showed good TDD and capatilised on Brenneman's mistakes very quickly.

I'd give him Mike Pyle next. Would be a decent test.

Kids a wrecking machine. Black belt under Nog, judo black belt, he's more than just vicious striking and Brenneman was out of his depth with him.
