Awesome. Pyle got caught a few times under pressure but is the better fighter and that was a nice counter.

LoL at him claiming he wasn't hurt. I don't know, but the guy has a humility problem in my opinion. I could be taking what he says out of context, but I just get that vibe every time he opens his mouth. I liked how after he said that, Florian states that he was hurt and took advantage of Neer's pressure. Good stuff.
Judging by how clean and precise the knock out punch was he very well could have been playing a little rope a dope.

You may be right, well played by him if so. It was still a very competitive fight. A chess match on the ground that was evenly contested, and a stand up fight which Neer had the advantage, but Pyle showed that he was never out of the fight with that well timed punch. If he was playing possum, it was probably a good idea even though that's kind of shady for someone to do. That's a part of the game I guess.

Risk vs Reward

Lets say he does nothing for the rest of the round...the round would to go Neer.

I just watched the last moments a couple of times, looked like he thought he was a foot further from the cage than he actually was , backed into it and lost his balance, and Neer pounced on him, but assumed he was dazed when he really wasn't.

I've only seen the fight once but it seemed to me that Josh had no respect for Pyle's punching. He kept walking right in looking for his own setups with no regard to getting hit. Kind of Diazesqueish

at least that's how I remember it.
