Mayhem's comments rings true. JBJ is getting a lot more backlash simply because he exuded a much different persona + his status, otherwise it wouldn't be such a big deal. People see through it though. In any case what we have is an talented fighter who will forever be scrutinized.
My question is how will he perform against Hendo with the media constantly hounding em. You just know 90% of the media attention from here on out will be about that incident unfortunately. Welcome to the world of TMZ!

No he said "I would say him 'Don't drink anymore because you're amazing drinking!"
What I got out of that is Jon Jones is amazingly badass when he is drinking.
Don't believe me? Skip ahead to 3:35 lol
Oh the wonders of losing things in your own translation.

I don't think you got all of what he was saying, he said that he was already amazing with the drinking going on, but also said that if he stopped drinking, he would be unbeatable. So in other words, what JDS is saying, you stop drinking and you will be that much better.

I'm joking dude lighten up. Tried to not have the generic boring response of "Jon really messed up badly and he is going to strive to learn from it and be a better human being for peace and love on earth."

I think DUI laws are bullshit but liked a few of the responses from the fighters. Mir, Mayhem, and JDS were reasonable and similar to what I would've said. Cruz sounded like a twat imo.

As far as Jon Jones and his religion... Well, even the Dalai Lama makes mistakes. Religion is (Amongst other things of course) about the pursuit of perfection. So long as you learn from your mistakes and do not repeat them, I would say you are on the right track.

I just got a chance to watch this, and man, Frank Mir's bit was great. I know several of you mentioned that too, but I really liked it.
That dude could be a motivational GURU lol.
