Not cool with all these injuries. I would go with Belcher if his hand is ok by then or same deal with Vitor, if his hand is better.

Yushin Okami would be ok if all else fails.

Well i was actually shocked to see one of them not injured. I was expecting these news and would have been surprised to not see someone injured in practice.

Wow, people are dropping left and right, they are really taking advantage of this health insurance. I bet Dana wishes he never done that deal now.

Lombard is the sort of guy that will fight at any weight class, Lombard vs Shogun could be FOTY make it happen captain.

These injuries are ridiculous.

Probably would go with Munoz, but I just know the type of fight that's gonna transpire; takedowns, gnp, etc. Bisping would be entertaining, but will not bode well for the TUF alumni.

*NOTE* Just realized Lombard is on a 24 win streak...holy craps!
eh the win streak isn't that amazingly impressive taking into account the insanely low level of competition it has been against.

Terrible news I really wanted to see this fight.

As far as replacements go Unfortunately I don't see it being Vitor/Belcher as both men are still hurt. Also with guys like Bisping/Shields/Cote/Franklin/Le/Weidman/Munoz/Herman all booked to fight I can only really think that one of the following will be put in as a tune up fight for Lombard.

Yushin Okami(I dont see it as he dropped 2 in a row)
Constantinos Philippou
Chris Leben (If he is off suspension)
CB Dolloway
Francis Carmont
Ronny Markes

Out of the 6 I mentioned. I think Leben/Lombard would be the best option but that is of course only a slight chance due to his suspension. Carmont might be interesting as well because he has looked great in his last fights but I still see Hector winning.

It's a "low" level of competition because the "high" level of fighters have avoided him like a fat ginger chick at an orgy.
