Stann vs Bisping it should happen

Now that Stann is injured and Bisping its time these two got to fight each other, both have lost to Sonnen albeit Stann lost more convincingly, they are both waiting to get a shot at the title.
This fight would be an easy sale, whats your thoughts on the matter?

Stefan Struve
Donald Cerrone
Glover Texiera
Cub Swanson
Kim Dong - Hyun.

Yes, I'd love to see it and have wanted to see it for a long time.

Stann's grappling isn't all that but you have to take into account at 185 the only guy who really grapple ****ed him is Sonnen who posses some of, if not the best wrestling in MMA. By far the best wrestler at 185 as far as MMA goes. I don't think Bisping would be trying to stand with him and might try to get takedowns but I could see Stann putting him out for sure if he caught him.

I agree... They both were on a decent win streak against not top 10 guys and then lost to Sonnen. Seems it will sort some things out in the MW division.

Comparing their fights against Sonnen, Bisping would clearly beat Stann.

But, I think Bisping would get caught and TKO'd at some point. Stann has massive power and I don't think Bisping would try to take him down.

This would be a very interesting matchup and many fans would want this fight.

The casual fans would be attracted by the UFC marketing of an American soldier vs a disliked title contender. We know the UFC pushed Bisping to talk trash and it worked with him drawing in huge numbers.

The hardcore fans would want this fight because it is a great matchup and be enticed by the striking aspect.
Bisping is definetly a better striker but Stanns natural attributes make up for that. Bisping has to outpoint Stann striking with his better skill. Stann is a monster and could finish Bisping with a flush punch anytime during the fight.

Only a Nate vs Pettis title shot fight excites me more then this fight in the striking aspect.
