Not hugely impressed by Hecht or Pierson, dont think either will be around in a years time. Gotta go with Pierson - he's had one UFC fight where he's looked good, and the other 2 fights were losses to guys near the top of the division. Hecht was getting beat by Rich friggin Attonito before he landed the elbows, and most recently got submitted in less than a minute. Pierson is actually the underdog, so i may have a small bet on him.
Martinez should beat Bernardo Magalhaes pretty comfortably. It may have been octagon nerves, but Magalhaes looked very poor in his debut, having pretty much every takedown stuffed. It was to a decent fighter in Tim Means though. Martinez on the oher hand looked great in his losing effort, taking the fight on something like 2 weeks notice fighting a weightclass above. He was dominating the fight untill he gassed (which is understandable given the late-notice and being in there with a huge WW when he's a small LW). In there with a full training camp and fighting someone his size, i expect Martinez to land one of his bombs and end it early.
The first fight of the night is much harder to pick, as their both making their UFC debuts, and even by looking at the odds, their pretty much both the same. Can't really say much on this fight at all, but if really pushed i'd go with Roberts. He's a big MW coming down from LHW, is more experienced, and beat the tough Tony Lopez in his last fight. Magalhaes only has 5 fights, never fought outside of brazil, and squeked through by split decision in his last fight. So at a push Roberts, but i'm stauing away from this fight betting-wise.
