UFC on FX 3 bonuses ***SPOILERS***

SUNRISE, Fla. Mike Pyle, Erick Silva, Eddie Wineland and Scott Jorgensen each earned $40,000 bonuses for their performances at Friday night's UFC on FX 3 event.

Pyle earned the "Knockout of the Night" bonus, Silva picked up the "Submission of the Night" award, while Wineland and Jorgensen were awarded "Fight of the Night" honors.

UFC officials announced the winners following the event.

UFC on FX 3 took place at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla. The event's main card aired on FX, and the prelims aired on FUEL TV and streamed on Facebook.

Pyle earned his extra money with an incredible finish of the always durable Josh Neer. "Quicksand" looked to be struggling for a bit as he covered up against the cage, fending off a Neer flurry of punches. But with time winding down on the clock, Pyle unleashed a slick one-two to the chin that dropped Neer, and Pyle walked off with just four seconds left on the first-round clock, scoring the "Knockout of the Night" in the process.

Silva earned his bonus with an impressive first-round finish of Charlie Brenneman. The Brazilian showed little regard for his opponent's wrestling game, scrambling away each and every time he was taken to the mat. As the round wore on, Silva took over, scoring with a powerful kick to the body and then pouncing when his wilting foe turtled up. Silva dove onto the back and quickly locked in a fight-ending rear-naked choke that earned him the evening's "Submission of the Night."

Wineland and Jorgensen combined for a scrap worthy of two top bantamweight veterans. Both fighters moved forward from the opening bell, and while Jorgensen was unable to utilize his vaunted wrestling attack, he was able to do damage on the fight with a stiff jab and a knee that opened up a nasty cut on his opponent's forehead. However, it was Wineland who would earn the victory, landing a devastating right hand that sent Jorgensen to the canvas. Wineland pounced for the finish and the victory. The effort was enough for both fighters to cash in on the evening's "Fight of the Night" bonus.

The mainevent was a better fight than Wineland/Jorgensen; more skillful fighting from both fighters in my opinion.

Right call for Pyle and Silva, never seen Neer dropped like that before, and Erik Silva definitely one to watch in the months to come, but yeah I felt McCall/Johnson should've been FOTN

Neer got KO'd in the IFL kinda similar, but that's a bit off the radar. Sure as hell didn't expect that tonight.

I thought Wineland should have got KO of the night. His was well set up and prettier. Pyle's knocked Neer out instantly, but it wasn't as nice imo.
