9000$ three times a year is still more than 90% of the people with normal jobs. Plus he gets sponsorship money and probably has a win bonus. Don't think he's not making enough money. It's just that the other guys make so much more that it's not fair for him.
He doesnt have a regular job. He is a professional athlete who fights on TV. Its like comparing apples and oranges.
I wouldnt mind these pays if the UFC took part in paying peoples training camps. Not only might it reduce injuries if these guys could afford the best training like other sports BUT they would put on better performances which is what the UFC basically demands. And it would make these salaries look alot more fair.
"You make 50k a year for 3 fights and have your training paid for, you should not be complaining. And if you can take advantage of your position and win fights then you could make a few 100k a year."
Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
