Rashad's the man i've for beating Anderson for a long time now.
He's the next UFC MW champ.
Then Lyoto will take that belt from him.

McCall, Faber, Aldo, Nate, Nick, Lyoto, TBD, Hunt
Forever hanging in Anderson Silva nuts

I think what he was meaning was that Anderson VS Rashad is different to Lyoto VS Rashad because Lyoto's TDD is notoriously good whereas Anderson's TDD is known as the worst part of his game.

I can't see Rashad dropping to MW without severely hurting his gas tank.

I have Rashad beating Anderson with an easy decision, possibly eve a G&P stoppage.

That doesn't mean he deserves a shot at the champ just for making weight. Have him establish himself at MW first, instead of just taking the easy way out.

I have been contemplating how this fight would go for a while and though rashad would have a chance and now that it has been announced as a possibility this could be interesting. However I was thinking more along the lines of the fight at 205 or catchweight 195 not 185. Rashad may have the tools to get it done he is strong extremely fast a good wrestler and not too bad on the feet. The question is how would he handle the weight cut.

I think that Rashad is overmuscled so he can be heavy on fight night at 205.
A slightly slimmer Rashad, would be faster and would have a better cardio so i only see advantages in this one.

Oh wait, i'd like to add that he would finally get to fight guys his own size.

ya no way dropping to MW is going to hurt rashads gas tank.. if he keeps his current physique and cuts hard then maybe, but he is not that dumb.. he will get down to a natural 200lbs and then cut and he will be faster and have cardio for days...

he is already fast at LHW so at MW he will be intensly fast but still only be be number 2 in the rankings, silvas reach and accuracy will own rashads speed any day of the week...

Rashad with a good gameplan takes the belt. He has one of the best shots in all of MMA, he has great speed and is a strong grappler. I think if he comes in and tries to keep Anderson down, he takes a decision and has the chance to get a stoppage.

I think a smart Rashad tears through Middleweight.

Andersson Silva has good bottom game but his takedown defence is not the best. I can easily see Rashad taking Silva down and get some ground and pound. Good matchup for Rashad and I think he will win.

If Anderson came up to 205 for that fight? I'd definitely watch THAT! Rashad decisions Silva IMO.
