Jon Jones took Machida down like a rag-doll and so could many other wrestlers. Machidas great takedown defense is nothing more then a myth created by fighting shitty wrestlers and a good wrestler that didnt wrestle.
Couture and Ortiz shit wrestlers hahahaha. What are they in the hall of fame for? their boxing? Another sideways super 'special' post

Machida has probably the best movement/footwork in the UFC, you have to be either much bigger than him(Jones) or capable of outsmarting him on the feet(Shogun) to achieve and maintain a takedown or clinch.

I'd say Machida beats Rashad in a rematch, by (T)KO again. Evans on paper is big trouble at 185 but I think that division has a very high skill level right now and at his age fighting that light for the first time in years, no gimme IMO.

Hard to say Ortiz did not evolve as his career was hamper with injuries after the Chuck fight. As for Randy, he is a great wrestler, however styles do make match up and he did not have the footwork, speed to keep up with Machida. If Randy was still active I say he would beat a lot of the top 15 ranked LHWs.

yeah an old man who had the title 2 years before that. They said he was an old man in every fight he had in the last 10 years. Im sure Nog and Vera would agree he fought like an old man in their fights too.

Would love to see your shot after a few neck and spinal operations.

Keep this up and instead of being the forum asshole, you could be the forum idiot as well!

Well seeing how Nog schooled his ass for 15 minutes it doesn't matter. And if Vera had a better fight IQ he would have finished Randy.

The Nog fight was a war, Nog won it for sure but I wouldnt say he kicked his ass. Round three finished with Randy on top landing strikes,

Lol like his cracked skull???

Randy is a good wrestler BUT he is also old. And his wrestling was never based on shooting anyway it was based on getting his opponent against the fence and dragging them down. Which i am sure you are aware of.

vera sucks (And btw alot of people thought Vera won) and Nog is old too. What in the hell is that supposed to prove??? You lose your marbles somewhere??

Ok so now you are agreeing that Tito has a bad shot???

Ok good.
Why did you try to claim that his shot was good in the first place then???

I might be the forum asshole but YOU ARE the forum idiot. Your arguments made no ******* sense and your post supporting them actually discredited your first post. So how about you find someone else to bug since your limited knowledge of MMA is somewhat annoying to me.

BTW
I take it back... you are not the forum idiot you instead are just an idiot. You dont matter enough to be the forum anything.

You just have no respect for proven fighters thats the issue here

Tito was a great wrestler before his injuries, you said he was a crap mma wrestler. His wrestling certainly took a hit after his operations, thats what I said.

The 'old man' took loads of vicious body kicks against Vera, and still got the decision. Nog is what 36? Younger then Anderson Silva, but oh he is old too and doesn't mean anything either.

Machidas footwork is probably the best in the UFC. Its not because guys are bad wrestlers they couldnt take machida down, its because he is that good on his feet he makes them look like they dont have good take downs

Randy got knocked down in each round and nearly chocked out what else would you call it. Wow the third round for what a minute?

Right and it was one of those body kicks that nearly cost him the fight but since Vera is a tool he couldn't finish.
