He's got some wicked right kicks. Love the way he blocks and immediately fires off a leg kick counter.

I'm hoping this fight would be very entertaining. Mauy Thai vs Muay Thai. Of course, this doesn't have to happen if Shogun just takes Vera down since Shogun has the better ground game.

This is going to be a cake walk for Shogun, no doubt.

Vera's not exactly a slouch on the ground and I'd even wager he's a better wrestler than Shogun.

However, Vera breaks mentally, the guy got knocked down by Eliot Marshall. People can play the "if the stars align" and the "this fight could be great" game all they want, but the reality is unless the beating from Jones and the epic fight with Henderson took too much out of Shogun there's no possible way Shogun loses this fight. Shogun is still an elite fighter at LHW and Vera is borderline top 20.

Yeah, and Andre Amade. They're better at coaching than fighting.

I don't know whether there is a specific reason for it or he does it unconsciously, but it looks like after his left jab he has a tendency to drop his right hand before firing it, leaving a little hole for a counter.
