Was really pulling for Nurmagomedov but what do you do, Tibau is a tough and expperienced guy.

Neither did NUMDQZAWDQWZ! He was swinging wildly and was losing the striking exchanges and couldnt take him down. I have Tibau winning this.

I don't know how Tibau would win for doing virtually nothing. In a fight where neither person is doing much, I'll award the points to the fighter who put on the pressure and actually bloodied his opponent.

Tibau did zero in that fight. Absolute zero.

I think he deserved that decision. He was way more active and landed a few shots. Tibau just backed up onto the cage for most of the fight, didn't really land any punches. Got a couple of takedowns that he didn't do anything with.

I'd give it to Nurmagomedov purely because he was more active and had better octagon control.

All the time someone is failing to get a takedown against the fence, they are on the offense. Even though they are failing to get a takedown they are scoring in the judges eyes by being in control. The striking was even seeing as neither really landed, the only difference was the forward motion and aggression. Genuinely surprised at the reaction to an obvious decision.

WOW!!! in my 10+ years of watching this sport that has to be the worst decision i have ever seen.

EDIT: or did i get tricked by joe rogans commentary? i thought the first 2 rounds were clearly Tibau's.

Wow, all three judges scored it 30-27 for Khabib. It must have been his pressure, the guy was being really aggressive against Tibau and was trying to finish the fight with those power punches. Some of them even got through at some points.
