This fight isn't about Silva's wrestling defense or Sonnen's control of distance.

If Silva makes the correct adjustment to his stance and Sonnen is any less aggressive than he was last time, this fight may not hit the mat at all.

Even if Sonnen is as fearless as before, his choice of punch is what let him control the fight last time and unless he can anticipate Silva's tactics and bring a strike that Silva is not expecting again, he will not obtain the takedown as easily and will be countered.

I'm guessing that Silva will work a lot on his takedown defense and keep the fight standing. Once that is accomplished it will all be downhill from there. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight ends fast either. I don't want it to end early for entertainment purposes but a couple of well-times strikes (knees, punches, kicks) is all he will need to put chael to sleep.

I haven't been excited about a fight like this since hatton fought mayweather.

Stann is B level at best. He has no ground game. At all. It's Pat Barry level.

That is not dead which can eternal lie and withs strange aeons even death may die.

Holy cow, did Michael write that column while wearing Anderson's jockstrap on his head?
