I'm not comparing it to murder, I'm saying what he's saying should be treated just as good or bad as you would treat it ordinarily, whether or not he does it for money.

If you're cool with some stranger saying he'd slap your wife on the ass or calling your country a craphole, then that's fine, I'm not saying it's murder. If you think that stuff is offensive, then it's still offensive if the guy did it for money, probably a bit more so.

I think your'e mostly right, but to me, I guess the question isn't how you make the money, but what you actually do with it. Like ok, fine you do something sheisty to make a buck, if you spend that buck on a stripper, you're a sleazebag pretty much.

Really, if Chael is using the extra buy rates to buy nice cars, like, really, I'll look down on his character. "For the money" isn't a free pass to do whatever shit you want and not have people judge you for it (rather its the opposite). If Chael uses that money to buy a new gym for his highschool, then mad respect.

From what he said I think he is addressing the principle of it (acting unethical in order to make money and that consequently being used as an excuse to rationalize a type of behavior). It didn't seem to me that his intention was to make a direct comparison the sense that the two (talking trash + murder) are the same in a univocal sense.

That's what I got out of it at least.

Not gonna happen. That said, if he subs Silva, I will suddenly have to feel a very small amount of respect for him. If he beats him standing, I will have a little bit more respect for him. If he holds him down and ptter patters his way to a boring ass wrestling plus just enough offense to not get stood up decision, I will continue to dislike what he brings to the sport (even if he's not serious with his BS, I don't care, his antics are not, IMHO good for the sport), and dislike him as a fighter.

If he gets his face kicked through the back of his head, I will smile all night.

Sonnen does not necessarily have to be better a BJJ to sub Anderson, if he can break his will then he could get Anderson in a position to be subbed.
