Look at Nick Diaz for example,he has to have a reason to be mad at his opponent to win. Daley,Penn, the list goes on.

Btw on a side note where is Jones? Have not herd anything about him in a long time.
I'm not sure you're incorrect. I think that does work for Diaz, and Koscheck and Rampage and Ortiz, etc. I'm just not getting all the people that are denying the Silva is upset and emotional. That's pretty much a given at this point. The real question is, does hie help him? It just might. My only pause is that this is normal for him. Diaz goes to mental war every fight. That's his game. The times I remember Silva being emotional, he didn't look very good. Against Maia for example.

Well Chael sonnen has been calling Silva a phony, and is glad the real anderson is on display. So i guess by the logic he pretty much has been fighting his entire UFC career like this.

The Maia fight he was cool about it, at the weigh ins shook the man's hand, called him a good fighter, smiling, etc.

I think the whole point was to wait just until before the fight for AS to bring things up another notch. If he does it too soon then we get tired of the talk a la Jones/Evans. It is timed so perfectly to peak during the fight.
What a concurrence that would be - the guy with the best timing in striking turns out to have the same timing in promotional aspects

He has been fighting for such a long time emotions really don't have a factor. Maybe if it was his first fight or a big moment he has not faced it would. But the man has done it all.
Actually - no. At least if you count his title fight against Franklin as a big moment. Instead of getting pumped, he was sitting calmly in the UFC facilities and read Harry Potter in the hours prior to that fight. That man obviously doesn't get too emotional about his fights.

We don't really know yet, we haven't seen Anderson this mad before. I'm really hoping that this doesn't turn into GSP .vs. Serra 1

Goodbye Tito, thanks for the 15 years of amazing fights, top level entertainment and controversy!
