Yeah, this idea that Chael lost the fight rather than Silva winning is utter nonsense.
Silva came in smarter in the second round and simply waited for the takedown instead of rushing in. After he knew he could stuff Chael, and, probably after Chael knew he couldn't take Silva down anymore, the game was up. No one stands with Silva and doesn't get dominated (I concede their are spare exceptions). On the knee: Again, where have you seen someone use a knee to damage their opponent on the ground from that position AND use it to gain position and pin his opponent down for GNP. Where have seen anybody knee a grounded opponent to the front of their chest?
People, it isn't actually that easy, Silva just makes it look that way.
