Can we wait till the man has actually retired before writing his obituary?

I predict he'll get over it and within two months he'll be throwing daggers at the rest of the MW division.

I still wanna see Sonnen in many many fights at MW: Franklin. Bisping again. Wandy. Belfort. There are a bunch of top guys who haven't faced Chael.

I don't know how I'll remember Chael once he's done... but one things for sure... I wont forget him.

...to add...
I'm kind of disappointed Silva didn't retire.

2. The first one (or one of the first ones I'm not quite sure on this one) to get a TRT legal license to cheat and open the pandora's box for a cheap new tactic, unbalancing the sport and exposing many elite athletes to the temptation of destroying their entire personal lives and health for short term gain.

3. The first one classless enough to actually drag wives and families into trash talk in all of UFC history.

4. A cheat who got smashed like the bug he is.

5. A crap comedian.

6. The martyr for classless douches world wide.
That pretty much sums it up!

Well. He is the number two ranked MW in the world which should not change since his last couple of losses are to Anderson.

Lets not close the bok on Sonnens career just yet. Anderson is approaching 40 and who knows if he will retire soon or not. Point being Sonnen could still potentially win the MW title one day.

As a fighter he will be remembered as one of the best wrestlers to ever compete in the UFC and was a fighter who emposed his will on his opponants like no other.

Fav Fighters:
BJ
GSP
Askren
JDS
Belcher
Shogun
Fedor
Hendo
Sonnen

That's quite ironic, since that statement perfectly captures chael's behavior towards Silva for the last few years.

Don't forget... Missed, fell like a sack of potatoes, embarrassed himself, got smashed and crawled into the fetal position. Facts are facts.

He sure is. Which is why he's currently the holder of the MW championship belt. LOL!

You're allowing your fanboyism to make you look like a fool. Give it a rest.

The best NEVER to have won the title. I see him going down hill. I think he'll have some submission losses and wander around the midcard. He will be remembered for what he achieved over the last two years.

He's a winner. He can't even hear you little ones.
Your trolling is a getting a bit lackluster now old friend, almost like there's a haunting melancholy of crushing sadness behind it . Your fond routine of eagerly googling and posting chael videos first thing in the morning must now reside in the halls of painful nostalgia.

ah heck I can't take that away from you, but at this point it's just boring reruns and everyone knows the climax. The ratings shall be shallow and thou shall be known as that kooky guy hanging on to crusty old shows.

Somehow I doubt he'll make ESPN or Fox for very long, but hey WWE's a winner too in certain pockets of the population.
