He isn't. Stann called HIM out, and Bisping was responding to it.
I'd love to see Bisping against Silva. It'd be a demolition. If he did better than Sonnen, I'd be DAMN surprised.
With that said, I think he beats Stann quite handily. And what better way, for Bisping to gain some American fans, than giving their hero a bit of trash talking

With the right gameplan Bisping wins it. He would be able to "Sonnen" Stann easily, Stanns grappling is horrible. However standing I think Bisping gets Ko'd.

No disrespect to Stann, but Bisping should beat him pretty handily. Stann's ground game is ugly, and getting taken down easily and out grappled by Massenzio for 2 and a half rounds before getting a come from behind submission doesn't make me think it's improved enough for him to have an advantage there against Bisping, a guy who has very underrated wrestling and ground and pound. On the feet, Stann may have a significant power advantage, but Bisping should be the faster fighter and with a solid game plan of mixing up his striking with his grappling, he should beat the one dimensional Stann by technical knock out or decision.

Stann is an overrated fighter, where as Bisping is highly underrated.
Bisping would take him apart.

Yup, I've got Bisping winning this fight too. And I don't think he necessarily needs to take it to the ground (although he could probably get the takedown).

He may not need to take it to the ground.... but on the ground, Stann can't use his KO power on Bisping. So it just depends if Bisping is there to make a point or win a fight.

Lol i really dont wanna see Bisping vs Anderson now. The guy has zero confidence that he can beat Anderson he just wants to put up a better fight then Chael Sonnen did. Which is no way to go in to a fight with Anderson Silva.

I just wish they'd get on and make a fight for Bisping. Doesn't matter whether it's Stann or Belfort, a win over either will get him a shot and then we can all see how he'd deal with Anderson.
I've wanted that fight for a long time, not in hope that Mike wins, just because I think stylistically it is very interesting and it would be fireworks.
Mike says some silly things here but the dude just wants to have a go, one win and you can have it so hurry up and sign the paper.

I want to see the fight just to shut him up already. All his interviews these days have something to do with this. Let him get his ass kicked so we can move on.

Brian Stann is a very humble, respectable fighter. Talking trash about him isn't good.
