Well then youd be surprised how many supplements you would consider a steroid.
Steroids are derived from the steroid molecule BUT thats alot different then trt. TRT users are not steroid users.
But thats my opinion and each his own.
If you want even playing fields then you gotta look at everything and not just trt.
What about when some peoples bodies produce more natural testostrone then others???
Thats not an even playing field.
What about when your genetically gifted like Jon Jones. Thats not playing on an even playing field.
If your asking for an even playing field then people using testosterone to get to the "NORMAL" levels is the closes you are going to get to it. They just need to increase the testing so no one abuses it. And Dana White said he is working on that so there we go.
But technically speaking there will never be a completely even playing field. Nature has a way of randomly screwing some people. The way i see it TRT can fix some of those mistakes. Ofcourse abusing TRT is a different story and im against also. Unless everyone can abuse it.... then im for it.

I replied in bold, to the bolded statement. Of course I meant Testosterone is a Steroid Hormone, because it is.
People currently doing it are elevating them beyond normal levels.
I believe TRT users ARE steroid users. Just as I was a steroid user when I was on nasal steroids. The difference lies in what you are using them for, and whether you are abusing them or not.
Natural is the keyword. If you're not naturally producing the amount of Testosterone it takes to be competitive in a combat sport, you shouldn't be doing it.
"Increase the testing so no one abuses it" - Bingo. Exactly what I want.
Your last sentence...
" Ofcourse abusing TRT is a different story and im against also. Unless everyone can abuse it.... then im for it."
is exactly what I said. Although I'm as much against everyone abusing it as just a handful of fighters. Everyone abusing it would just tarnish the sport as a whole.
I know the playing field will never be level, which is why I used the word naively in relation to my hopes of seeing such a thing. I just think the playing field, when the use of TRT is so obviously shady, skews the playing field to an un natural level.

Well the bolded part is what I was saying. I never claimed you said that. So dont worry about that
Personally i think everyone using steroids/trt should be legal. For the money athletes get paid i want to see the absolute BEST a human body is capable off. Steroids and TRT are just a tool to make that happen. Its like taking supplements just on a much grander scale. So thats why i think that stuff should be legal for athletes. Imagine all the sports if everyone was able to do steroids??? Holy shit the records would change. We would see sports being played harder, faster, longer and i myself want that. People would be training harder, jumping higher, hitting harder, running faster, and more importantly working longer in the training room.
But thats purely my opinion and i know im the few and not many when it comes to this subject.

This. People always talk about wanting to watch people perform at the highest level possible for a human. Well steroids allow you to go beyond that. I don't understand why people are so against it. There have never been any major studies on the affects of steroids over a long term, so who knows how they affect health, it's all a lot of guess work, with people with strong opinions on both sides. But let's be honest, steroids probably aren't the best things for you, but neither is getting hit in the face for living, or colliding with people at 10mph 100 times a day. Sports are dangerous.

I can definitely understand when it comes to that view. It would be extremely awesome to see how far the best of the best can push themselves physically. It'd be otherworldly. It's an intriguing thought for sure.
That said, with the health issues that come with it and other such complications, I wouldn't really ever actually want to see it happen.

Also to turn 180 from what I just said. Could you imagine how weird it would be if they made it legal at the pro level but not the amateur or college and we were all on here going "well he's good now, but imagine how good he's going to be when he's in the pros and starts juicing."

There are health risks but iv read studies before that say if your taking roids maybe twice a month or so that very few if any complications show. How much truth there is to that i dont know.
If it ever were to happen then i certainly would expect monthly doctor visits to become mandatory. And the injections should come strictly via doctor or nurse.
That said. Some of these guys are making outlandish amounts of money and fame. People out there are risking the side effects from steroids without it being legal or them even being athletes. So i just cant really feel bad for pro athletes if they decide they are willing to take the risk and getting paid 50mil a year and getting basically any female out there. I for instance would take that deal if i was athletically gifted like that.
