Is Matt Serra done fighting?
I haven't seen this guy fight in what seems like years, he's still over with ray longo as you can see during the munoz/weidman fight. Honestly I would love nothing more than him having a rematch with BJ Penn.
Has anyone heard/read anything about Matt?

Last I heard he's content driving his schools and cornering guys.

I don't think his officialy retired but he isn't an active fighter, that's for sure. If he wants a fight in the UFC some time in the future, he'd get it imo, which will happen sooner or later.

I think he still has a couple fights left in him. But honestly, retirement at this point is something I can see happening. He has nothing to prove right now.

I don't think he's fighting again, unless it's a BJ or Matt Hughes fight.

I think remember him saying recently that he'd like at least one more fight and that a Matt Hughes rematch was at the top of his list.
I don't have much confidence in his ability to fight at the UFC level anymore. He looked really out of shape at the Weidman fight.

Is he done?
I hope so. I was never a fan. Maybe it's the accent or the stubby arms and legs, I don't know? but I just couldn't take him seriously. Even when he politely held on to the belt for GSP. He was obviously just holding it so GSP didn't need to lug it around. Once GSP decided he wanted to hold it again, he simply took it back. No fuss no muss.
I don't know. If you get to know him, he is probably a great guy, but I just can't take his accent and tone of voice.

Matt Serra has by far the sexiest American accent.
