Alot of people are assuming the JBJ will beat Hendo when they fight and I do agree with them... but just for the sake of fun lets just say that Hendo catches JBJ with an H Bomb midway through the third after a very competitive fight.

Where does the UFC go from there...

Who does Hendo defend the title against?

How many fights till JBJ gets the rematch?


How high would you rank Hendo in the P4P rankings?

For me Id have Hendo defend against Shogun, or against Silva at 195 only if the UFC can get a card in Cowboys Stadium, JBJ test the waters at HW a la Silva Irvin style, Then another fight at LHW for the #1 contender spot, and I'd rank Hendo at Number 2 P4P

Shogun? For what beating Brandon Vera? No way. Gustafsson should get the title shot against the winner. Jones probably would need a win or two to get back in the mix provided it didn't alter his career.

Well Hendo isn't going to win but if he did there's a ton of possible fresh LHW opponents for him. Realistically though he's really old so I would expect him to either retire as champ or fight one or two more times maximum before calling it quits. Maybe he'll go for a super fight with Anderson Silva and the LHW belt on the line, who knows?

Um...the same direction they've always been going. A legend would have a well earned belt. Jon Jones may be sponsored by the UFC, (or so people say) but a loss to a legendary such as Dan Henderson fighter won't hurt the UFC, or even him. As a matter of fact, I think it will make him better and more dangerous because he will know what legitimately losing feels like, and he'll do what ever it takes not to let it happen again.

My guess would be Gustoffson, Ryoto/Darth winner, or possibly Stephen Bonner.

Back to the drawing board.

Probably one or two. But hopefully no instant re-matches because I hate that shit. (assuming Hendo wins)


I don't really believe in a specific P4P ranking list per say (Just the AS is at the top), however, I would most definitely consider Hendo to be a legend of the sport, more so than he already is.

To be honest, I think that's a bit on the unrealistic side of things. I don't really understand how people say Jon Jones is "Big and belongs at heavyweight". He's a good size at LHW imo, not too big. He just has a long reach. Not to say I wouldn't like to see him fight some guys at heavyweight, because I would most definitely be interested in seeing that. However, to say he's too big for LHW is a stretch. Hell, when JBJ and Anthony Johnson (former welterweight) were sitting beside each other on Inside MMA< Anthony Johnson actually looked bigger. But I digress...

As much as I like JBJ, Dan Hendo Henderson becoming LHW champion would be none other than Badass. His title defenses would be legendary for sure, and quite honestly I would see him retiring on top, whether its right after winning the title, or after a few title defenses. I definitely don't see (or hope) is career doesn't go the direction of Ken Shamrock, and he fights until he's damn near physically unable.

Actually the main reason I'd like to see JBJ move up for a feeler fight at HW is to give the LHW division some time to breathe and groom some new threats, JBJ is 24 and has damn near cleaned out the division. U figure If he takes one feeler fight a HW then a number one contender fight hell be at least 26 by the time he wins the belt back and the LHW divsion will look alot different.

Hendo either retires on top or loses in a rematch. Jones has too many advantages imo and it's not like another fighter is going to leapfrog bones into a title fight.

Jones likely faces Gustaferssn or Teixeria

Evans/Machida, which is a way to get Jones/Evans II, he will likely have one more fight before he hangs it up.

Hard not to call the man the P4P GOAT with wins over Fedor, Jones, Shogun, Wanderlei, Franklin and Nog.

Now would Jones move up to HW....I don't see it. I do however feel like if Jones gets KO'd by Henderson 6 or 7 top HW's will make the cut and drop to 205. I believe they will do it anyways but a Jones KO will motivate more of them.

I really like hendo, I always have. But to be honest this scenario didn't even cross my mind. I suppose while Ill be rooting for him I give him almost no chance of winning this fight.

Hendo vs Anderson 2 at 205 for the belt would do so many more buys then Jones vs anyone at that weight anymore. People almost expect him to win after what he's done to that division the last couple years.
