Maybe he got sick of people telling him how they were going to be the next big thing. Maybe he just is an asshole.

Adam wasn't even telling him that he was going to be the next big thing or that he was going to train at the Miletich camp. He was just telling him that he had been training for his debut when he was diagnosed with cancer. It pure douchebaggery on his part. I actually got removed from the building for saying that to Hughes.
Before that he and I were huge Hughes fans. Afterwards not so much.

Matt was way cool when I met him at the HIT Squad grand opening. He actually invited ppl from his message board to a bonfire on the Hughes family farm Im not trying to dispute anyone else's experience, but that was the coolest shit in the world hanging out with the champ. He was real down to earth.

Just about everything Royce Gracie has ever said rubs me up the wrong way.
Beyond that, Cruz annoys the shit out of me, but not sure why. I quite like the way he fights... but his interviews leave me wanting to piss on my laptop.

Functionally illiterate people who don't have jobs shouting that they **** bitches, sling rocks, and drive lowriders in between drive by shootings seem very unconstructive to me but I'm old fashioned I guess.

Same here. He seems so uncomfortable in front of the camera which in turn makes me uncomfortable.

You know it.
Pretty much watch any season of TUF for the answer to this. I'm sure this year we'll find out Shane Carwin is a dick.

A lot of the old school Chute Boxe (pre pride) guys fit this. Street fighting, bullying regular people, beating homeless, were not uncommon at the time.
