UFC 149 = Failure... UFC Prelims = Success

Was it me or did I feel like this was the most boring PPV in a while. The co-main event and main event fails to the hype.

Dana White as a promoter probably shooting himself in the foot for hyping up the event as we saw on live tv. It wasn't a sell-out.

The only interesting thing that happen in the main event was the fight in the crowd.

Faber probably needs to retire as his days for title contention are done as we know he has problem now as he is figured out. Just kick him in the legs proven by his last two fights with Brazilian fighters. And I think Cruz is too good for him even if he won as Cruz has improves over times.

Hector was a disappointment and I felt he was trying to be Silva but with all the mass of muscles and so on, he seems flat foot and gassed.

Personally, I thought McGee was better than Ring as shown by the technical boxing and striking of his punches as Ring was playing survival mode for the last round and a half.

And whats up with Tim not getting an interview after beating Hector?

I was so happy for Carvalho winning, the rest barely mattered.

Also, I'm glad Lombard lost, just to shut his fanboys up.

M. Coenen | S. Kaufman | A. Davis

I agree with the title. I didn't pay for anything, so I can't really complain. But I was less than thrilled with the main card.

At the end of the day, there will be another card in two weeks. I think everyone of us will survive.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

The PPV was pretty crappy to me. The main event wasn't horrible... but the event overall sucked.

Hector was the biggest disappointment in my books. Looking at the way he fought in the past... this was pathetic. I figure he was probably nervous that he was finally in the big leagues.

Worst card I have seen in a long time. Watched it till the 3rd round of Barao-Faber and went for a swim instead. Didn't pay for the event, so I'm not in the position to complain much about it.

Aldo - Dos Anjos - Mayday - Weidman - Machida - Jones

I don't know... maybe I'm still caught up in the emotion of the whole event but I can't recall being this disappointed with a UFC PPV in a long time.

The first fight I watched was McGee-Ring. Highway Robbery. Part Deux. Enough said.

Then, Riddle-Clements. Enjoyable fight to watch. And I absolutely love the guy, but Riddle just isn't progressing at the rate I thought he would.

Ebersole-Head. Don't even know what to say here. Ebersole probably should've won. Another questionable judges decision.

Kongo-Jordan. For a guy looking for one last hurrah at heavyweight, Kongo probably shouldn't be absolutely gassed after 3 minutes of defending takedowns. Low blow or not.

Lombard-Boetsch. Glad I took Boetsch on the moneyline. Pissed I paired it with McGee.

Faber-Barao. Props to Barao. Looked better than ever. The kid is the real deal. Faber's days as a legit contender are officially over. Time to go the way of KenFlo.

Conclusion: UFC 149 = money not well spent...

Booooo-fc 149

worst card ever....

I think there should be a new system instituted where if 40% of the fighters on a card are injured, they should scrap it all together.

Im glad I didnt waste 50$

Awful card. Worst one ever? No. No card will ever be shittier than 118. That was the first card in my hometown and so far the only one. I nearly spent $80 to see that garbage live.

EDIT: Just noticed the scraped card idea. I honestly think they will never scrap a card after seeing UFC 147. That card had no right to be on PPV yet they kept it around. I still haven't seen the buyrate but it had to have been the worst in the last 6 years.

Chris Clements vs. Matt Riddle and everything before it was great.. After that, total snoozefest.

Lombard was a major letdown too. Was that even the same guy from Bellator?

Didn't find myself bored with the Prelims, what I can see of the Main Card wasn't as bad as I think people are making it out to be. Just my opinion anyway, quite enjoyed what I've seen so far.
