He beat him up pretty good but he didn't drop him or anything. It was fairly one sided but still a good watch.

Good, he's a good fighter and puts on good fights, he's only gonna make money doing this and since Cruz got hurt in May, it's still a long time until he comes back.
I'd have him fight Mayday, two young exciting fighters fighting for the belt, I have Mayday ranked number four and since Bowles and Faber are coming off loses, this is the fight to make.

Simmiliar to what Aldo did to him, without the head kick drop although Barao did hurt him a little with a head kick. It was an Aldo light beat down, leg kicks and all.

Barao touched him up more with punches than I remember Aldo doing. The Aldo fight was weird he like basically let Faber off easy int eh last couple rounds after he crippled him.

I think at the end of the third when Faber had to be carried to the corner and then as soon as Aldo threw another leg kick in the fourth Faber fell down and didn't even try to hide it Aldo felt bad for him. He clearly could have just kept taking Faber's leg apart and finished the fight. Aldo went to the body more with his hands.
I do think Renan went at him more with hands, but Faber showed improved ability to check kicks. It was still nowhere near as bad as Aldo beat him up.

Michael McDoland should fight Barao for the belt like Legion said.
That would be a sick sick fight.

Well yeah, Mayday is the only fighter who deserves a shot at the moment. Mike Easton still needs a big win. McDonald V Barao, then Barao VS Cruz.
In that time Brian Bowles will have had a couple of fights and hopefully Mike Easton is still on a run so they could have a no.1 contender fight.
