I can see Hardy's point, he's a high profile fighter (that lost 4 in a row) and Riddle is kinda under the radar. But Riddles record for his last few fights is far more impressive than Hardy...don't think Dan is in a position to be too picky here!

To be fair, Riddle is not in a position to pick his fights either. Especially since Hardy already has a fight booked.

What we have is goofball Riddle who is the one trying to get a win over a guy people know. He is calling out Hardy because a fan spit on him. What does that have to do with Hardy?

If I were in Hardy's shoes. Training for a totally different fight coming up. And a guy liek Riddle with NO NAME value called me out because a guy spit on him...I'd laugh.

What is the point in calling a guy out who is n the middle of training for a fight anyway?

I also don't understand why people think Hardy is SO bad on the ground. Because GSP dominated him? Because AJ, an athletic 205er took him down and sat on him? It isn't like Dan is getting out-wrestled by average WWs. His grappling isn't good...but at the same time I don't think he is totally helpless.
Except Marcus ******* Davis also took him down repeatedly and nearly won that fight.

Is the Sadollah fight official? Thought Dan hadn't signed yet.

Said yesterday on Twitter that he'd signed to fight Sadollah, and I'm pretty sure it was announced when the card was announced.

Its a risky fight for Dan. Sure if it stays standing he's probably going to beat the crap out of matt. But I think riddle is going to walk right up to him, stand toe to toe for a tenth of a second before shooting on this guy endlessly for 15minutes. While most guys would see this as riddles likely strategy and adjust for it, Dan is going to plant his feet stand right in front of riddle and be sloppily dragged to the floor many times in route to a UD or submission loss.

should be a good fight, I know it was announced but the next day Hardy tweeted saying it wasn't official...thus confusion

I just think it is foolish when guys call fighters out who already have a fight ahead of them.

Makes little sense.

What makes even less sense is that Riddle is all fired up to fight Dan Hardy...because a fan spit on him on England.

But then again, Riddle never struck me as the sharpest tool in the shed.
