Beaten before the fight starts, or is Brandon just telling the truth? I'll reserve judgement until after the fight.

I think this is going to be a good fight; especially if Brandon can fight through an apparent case of pre-fight jitters.

Of course, Shogun probably won't give him the time to do so...

"I'm fighting Shogun, for sure I'm nervous, you gotta be kind of nervous when you're fighting Shogun but my biggest concern with Shogun is his pride. There is no fear in Shogun, there is no he's too tired, there's no questioning whether he's good or not, there's no doubt in his mind that he's one of the best in the world.

Quick type up of it, seems almost in awe of Shogun which of course any fight fan would be but, Vera is FIGHTING him. Like I said, I'll reserve judgement. Shogun's statement to this is that it could just be a trap to take Vera lightly.

While I appreciate that he is in awe of the guy I hope this doesn't turn into some Pat Barry/Cro Cop sort of fight.

While I was listening to him say that I couldn't help but think aren't we just 2 fights away from Shogun tapping to strikes?

The fight didn't end via submission to strikes, name a more tenacious fighter in the LHW top 10 right now.

Shogun would be the tenacious one, came from a good beating to give a good beating, when the final bell rang Shogun walked away and Hendo was on his back.

Shogun lost the decision, but he was certainly the more determined fighter.

It seemed like it to me





as for more tenacious?

we've seen Bonnar, Rashad and Davis take similar beatings but they fought to the end.
