Why dont you create your own thread and keep that shit out of here. This thread isnt about how much Damarques sucks.
The reason he is fighting Swick is so Swick can get an C level fight after his 2 and a half year lay off after a serious ailment.

Same thing happened with Rashad when he was out for a year. The Rashad that fought Tito was probably the best Rashad we've ever seen. I wonder why that is.
Not to get ahead of myself here. Gotta wait till tomorrow to see if he's as good as he looks.

yeah i know what you are talking about. How Rashad looked before that fight was insane. He looked by far better then ever before.
But the difference is Swick has had serious stomach problems in the last few years and has lost weight because he couldnt digest calories anymore. He was getting like 1k a day. So he looked frail because of it. Now that he has it in check he can eat like he should be eating and his body reflects that.
Rashad just looked great...

Well since you asked...
The thesis of your statement is that Damarques Johnson is a C-list fighter and that this is a huge step down from the atypical Mike Swick opponent. The problem with this statement is his victories have been against Marcus Davis, Jonathan Goulet, Ben Saunders, and Joe Riggs who don't appear to me to be of a much higher caliber then the aforementioned Johnson. Really the only fighter you could argue that Swick has defeated that is above the C-list would be Dave Loiseau, and that is a bit of a stretch.
So if you don't like Mike Swick beating up the C-listers, then what exactly are you a fan of? Are you like a Chicago Cubs fan who roots for the fighter as he loses to the bigger more talented fighters? Are you a fan of his dreamy eyes and strong jaw bone? Did he save your dog from a cougar attack?
Such apoplexy for a middling fighter is just weird. |
