I hate Commercials
This why i bairly watch regular tv, lets talk for 1 minute then have 5 minutes of commercials, i know its good for mma to be on a prime network ect...but man it would of ben nicer to have them on a premium channel
Sorry just had to rant, what you guys think is better a card that is free with commercials or 60 ppv's

It's so frustrating. I normally record fight nights and Fox/FX cards for this very reason.

Yea, I understand why they do it.. But its still annoying as hell having tons of commercials at once.

there is just soooo many of them this is ridiculous
i know they have to make money ect...but there is a fine line from making money to ruining the show by all you show is commercials

I'm in the same boat. Although I shut off my cable a month ago, for the previous five years I dvr'd everything. I can't watch MMA or the NFL games after knowing the results though so I endure the commercials.

Commercials haven't seemed to hurt the NFL. If the UFC ever wants to compete with the big boys, they and their fans need to accept Network events with commercials. PPV only will never lead to much more than it is.
Hell, the NFL has gotten to the point where people actually look forward to the Superbowl commercials.
So it can be done, it can happen, but they need to do it. If they rely solely on PPV. This sport will quickly stagnate level out at a level much lower than the NFL, NBA and Baseball.
The 3 biggest sports are not on PPV. The 3 Biggest Sports all have commercials and yet they are still the 3 biggest sports.
If the UFC wants to compete with them, they need to find a way to do the same thing. They need to make their money from advertisers and not from PPV sales.
Afterall, who has more money, the fans that buy the PPV's or the Major corporations that pay for commercial time?
It's a no brainer.
