If Jones is the winner of Hendo vs Jones how do you see the 2nd Jones vs Machida goin
I think Machida will take the belt this time around. He's been in there once before with him, he won a round and will know how to better deal with JJ's double leg take downs. He'll also play it a LOT more careful and mainly just rely on countering.

I think Jones will win, but the second fight anything can happen, Machida has been in there with Jones so he has an idea of the reach, etc. However I just seen Jon Jones adjusting to a new game plan and winning this one.

It'll end in TKO one way or another. JBJ will look to finish Machida and make an even bolder statement.
Machida will have to gun it and dictate the pace and not be pressed against the fence winging it. That's how he got clipped...he had no space to move. JBJ covers an immense amount of ground in a matter of seconds. He can not allow JBJ to stalk and dictate the distance or pace. Otherwise it's pretty much over.
So Machida has to do what he did against Bader and stand his ground constantly feigning jabs, crosses, and kicks. We don't know how JBJ responds to getting rocked or getting his head smashed on the ground (Anderson took tremendous amount of shots against Chael.) That's gonna take JBJ off his game plan because Machida usually takes a defensive posture. We already seen that it worked one round, but in the second JBJ changed his game plan and went to his bread and butter. So what's the point of taking a defensive posture if you know your opponent can adapt. Therefore it would be prudent to immediately force the action like the way Shogun did against Machida, the way JBJ did to Shogun and of course Chael vs Anderson.
I suspect a NYE card or super bowl fight with Overeem vs the winner of Cain and JDS.

Jones is able to stay on the outside and not **** up like others have due to that big reach so I doubt he'll rush in and get KO'ed.
Machida looked sharp last night, he was quick, he was fast if he could get in and out with leg kicks and weaken those already thin legs Jones has he might be able to win. Rampage is the only one I've ever seen land a significant leg kick on Jones which is saying something. The only problem with that is if Jones grabs a leg.
I don't know who will win, I want Machida to but the last fight was a pretty decisive victory for Jones but damn Lyoto looked so good last night.

I think Machida would be forced to overcome the reach of Jones, get taken down while doing so and then submitted.
And I'm saying this as someone who likes to see dominant champions dethroned.

Same result as last time. I know it's hard to remember past one fight for mma fans, but Jones isn't Bader.

People always say Machida figured Jones out and won a round, but I'm pretty sure the judges cards were released and Jones won that first round on 2 if not all the cards.
Machids has as good a chance as anyone of beating Jones but he still has to be a huge underdog. People are talking like its a 50/50 fight, it is not!

I expect it to be about the same if they fight again (which I expect they will, I can't see Hendo beating Jones). Nothing has changed, Machida is still the better technical striker but it isn't enough to make up for the massive size, strength, and reach disadvantage he has against Jones.

I think Jones will win because he fights at the lowest possible weight class for his size. Machida don't. Jones will have a physical advantage.
Jones has pushed the physical to the maxium and therefore I think in the future light heavyweight champions WILL be 6 foot 2 inches or taller.

He got flown down the floor when his back was against the cage, i don't think you can quite prepare youself properly for this, no matter who you are.
I see Jones adjusting and taking the rematch.
