Got out struck for the most part and didn't really look that great till the knee landed. Defintely not one for the future.

Wow. Had Lawrence to win and the under 2.5 rounds. Ended up breaking even on the fight. Impressive finish by MH. Lost I think 130k credits on here though, haha. Now I get why the odds were what they were. I thought JL's takedowns would have been much, much better. On to the next one

So Lawrence isn't nearly as good as they're trying to hype him? Uh oh...

Hitting someone in the groin makes you a super villain?

And here I thought he was one of the endless list of fighters that fouls during fights.

This is why I don't follow hype as fast as others seem too. I'm sure Lawrence will continue to improve, but it seems like fans put way too much stock into fighters way too early in their careers. Did one fight on the ultimate fighter against a relatively unknown opponent sway peoples opinions that much on Lawrence? So many promising fighters have come around through out the years looking like beasts only to have their hype train come crashing down a few fights later. That's why I'm not quick to jump on band wagons.

You know, unless someones name is Glover Teixeira. =P

That being said, I'm sure this will be a good learning experience for Lawrence and his place should still be secure in the UFC. He has plenty of time to improve. Now, let's wait for the next prospect to burst onto the scene with one impressive win and then have fans put a lot of stock on them. It seems to be an endless cycle.

Psalm 30:5 "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

Top 3 Favorite Fighters
1. Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell
2. Glover Teixeira
3. Demian Maia

Theirs a pretty big difference between missing a knee in the clinch or being an inch off a leg kick and landing a jumping kick to the balls.

Also from what I recall he acted like an ass in the Schilling fight.

No one who is knowledgeable about the MMA prospect scene thought much of Lawrence based on that TUF fight.

Most guys were pegging Eduardo Dudu Dantas from around the time before he won the Bellator tournament.

As of now, the best "unknown" guys that have legitimate hype and skills to match are probably Aljamain Sterling at 135 and Alexander Sarnavskiy at 155.
