I think Machida would beat Hendo, Hendo is a bit slow on his feet. Hendo has a chance if he rushes Machida when he's close to the fence, but I think Machida would pick Hendo apart.

I think Machida is an insanely bad matchup for Hendo.

If Hendo beats Bones i can only see it happening via KO (Punch) and the hype that would generate would see most people predicting another KO (Punch) against Machida.

then I'd have to root for Hendo.

if he wins over Bones he's pretty much one of the greatest of all time... well, he already is, but then he'd be maybe THE greatest of all time. Him and Silva.

Fedor, Mir, Lytle, Serra, Hendo, Chuck, Minowaman, Maynard, Forrest, Hunt
Pickett, Cerrone, Matt Brown, Bisping, Weidman, Barnett, Lawler

I wonder if Hendo won and went on to beat Machida whether Silva would accept the challenge to fight Hendo at LHW for their retirement fight. Silva won't fight Jones at LHW but I bet he would fight Hendo again, and beat him too.

He is, then again everyone including myself said the same thing when Machida went up against Rampage and look what happened there. On paper it should be an easy decision for Machida, he can easily stay on the outside with his speed and pick Hendo apart all night long.

But on the other hand Hendo has a great chin and he knows it, he can walk through Machida's punches if he has to and clinch him against the cage to rough him up from there. If he can do that early and clock Machida with a bunch of power shots like he did against Shogun he'll likely come out with a win.

I think it'll be one hell of a fun fight if it happens.

Not going to happen. Jones is a horrible matchup for Hendo. Sure Hendo has a slight chance of getting lucky and clipping Jones with an H bomb but more then likely Jones will just pick him apart at distance like he did Rampage and then finish it in the 2nd or 3rd when Hendo is gassed.

I'm thinking this might happen. On Paper, no way, JBJ should roll over Hendo.

But that's exactly why I think Hendo might win. In sports, it seems like everytime someone is a huge favorite and all the media treats a win like a fore gone conclusion, that's when the favorite gets upset.

I have been listening to the radio, reading on websites, etc, etc. That it's a sure thing that JBJ will win. That's the easiest way to jinx someone.

It's like when you watch the NFL, and right before a Field Goal kick the play by play guys says "This kicker is Money, he hasn't missed a kick in over a year" - Boom! That's when they miss.

I am getting that same feeling about this fight. Most media people and fans are saying Machida earned the rematch with Jones, not that he earned the fight against the winner.
